Inversely, if you door opens out, then install on the inside.

Another useful installation tip is to measure to find the center point of your door frame. Lightly mark the center point so you can line up your two pieces. Once you have done your prep work, you’ll next want to lay the two Magic Mesh screens on the floor, aligning the magnets in the center.

Test the magnets to be sure that they attract to each other and that they align properly. Now you are ready to peel the adhesive off of the hook and loop strips and apply the screens according to the diagram that is included in your shipment. Start by hanging the top right corner for the screen on the left and work your way to the left until the top 3 adhesives are in place. You will do the inverse for the right side screen – that is hanging the left-most adhesive and working your way to the right until all 3 top adhesives are in place. You will then adhere the side portions to the outside of the door frames.
